About the team
The team at For The Love Of Hair have a broad range of interests outside of hairdressing, but they all have one thing in common. Their love for nurturing our guests when they visit the studio, and delivering a style which makes their guest feel confident to be able to recreate it at home.
Christine Moohin
What got you interested in joining the hairdressing industry?
I started working with my Aunty and her team from when I was 14, I enjoyed supporting the stylists , and connecting with the guests. To simply nurture women is an absolute joy.
What is your favourite part of hairdressing
I love supporting a woman in providing an overall Style that they can wear with confidence and able to do themselves. A practical haircut is all that is needed, that can be worn simply on a daily basis.
What has been a memorable hairdressing moment in the studio...
Seeing the lights on after months of renovations , and many hair transformations with our guests.
What do you enjoy most about your clients?
the relationship and the depth of conversation we support each other, I love how everyone connects in the studio with each other..
When you aren’t hairdressing, what do you get up to?
Baking … connecting with friends… writing.. workshops.. dandelion walks.. just to name a few..
Best thing about working in the studio?
I get to unlock the door every day on a world of creativity, with an inspiring team, we have limitless ideas with our guests that come in each day looking for whats next with their style..

How did you get into the hairdressing industry and what do you love about it?
I grew up doing dancing and I loved doing hair before class and for competitions. I love being creative and making clients feel nurtured and fell confident with their hairstyle.
What is your specialty in hairdressing, what are you known for?
Braiding and foiling.
How would you describe a day in the life of a hairdresser...
Always on the go, and no two days are ever the same.
When you aren’t hairdressing, what do you get up to?
Watching the footy. Hanging out with friends and family.
What is something clients probably don’t know about you?
I’ve never been oversea’s and excited to started researching places to go.

What got you interested in the hairdressing industry?
By seeing so many people who struggle with their hair and didn't have any confidence getting their hair done. When you see someone smile after you complete a hairstyle and you can see their confidence come back, this has inspired me to do my hairdressing apprenticeship as I love supporting people in this way.
What is your favourite part of hairdressing?
Being able to have a conversation with clients and grow a new relationship from it.
Also being able to keep a clean and tidy work environment not just for me but also my work colleagues.
How would you describe a day in the life of a hairdresser?
Always on your feet, very busy.
When you aren’t hairdressing, what do you get up to?
Doing Dance and netball and hanging with friends.
What is something clients probably don’t know about you?
I've been over to America to Disneyland to do a dancing performance.
