The deposit secures and confirms your appointment at the studio. It also supports you to commit to coming to your appointment. We know life can get in the way and things can happen, but being casual about not turning up to an appointment has a big impact on a small business because often the hairdresser won't be able to fill that spot last minute and that can mean the loss of sometimes half a days work in some instances. If you turned up to your shift at work and your boss said sorry I actually don't feel like having you come into work today and that meant loss of income, well you can appreciate how that might impact you.

If you are a no-show we retain the deposit. If you have a genuine reason and give us 72 hours notice we can put the deposit towards your next appointment or a product in the store.

Sometimes we have cancellations and there are available appointments on the day — but not always. If you can’t locate an appointment for the day that you would like, send us a text message and we will see what we can do: +61409 988 428

Yes our Southport, Gold Coast opening hours are Saturday, Sunday and Monday. We also do evening times by appointment, the best way to find out is to join our waitlist if you don’t find a time that works for you.

There is a full multi-tiered car park at Queen's Street Village where Freedom Suites is located so there is usually ample parking available at For the Love of Hair Southport.

This is not needed as all our services include a shampoo and a complimentary head massage. We are told they are the best head massages and hair treatments in the Gold Coast.

Yes, we love pictures as inspiration, not expectation. Meaning, it's great to see a visual of what direction you want to head for your hair, but not having the expectation of getting exactly what the picture is, as they often are filled with filters and false variations of what the hair actually is. Check out our in studio images, to see some of our colour designs and haircuts. Disclaimer: maybe book your appointment before you go down the Instagram rabbit-hole, we know it can be hard to stay focused!

In studio, we use Loreal Professional colours to provide you with a high quality, long lasting colour. At the spa area, we use a range of professional treatments, and salon exclusive hair care rituals. For styling we also use Pureology to support hair styling at home.

Yes we do, you can buy them in the store here. Or you can email info@fortheloveofhair.com.au You can choose a digital voucher or a printed voucher that you can collect in our Hairdresser Gold Coast studio.

Generally, Cutting and/or Styling appointments take approximately 1 hour. Colour/Highlighting appointments can range from approximately 3-5 hours. For transformations, it may take longer and we will let you know of timing once known, If we need to reschedule for such a big job this will be communicated with you.

Please choose your products carefully. If you accidentally purchase the wrong item let us know within 7 days of purchase. If the item is unopened and the packaging is not damaged, we can exchange but not refund.
