Cycles of Hair Cycles of Hair

How often do we stay “stuck” to a regimented regime instead of going with what our hair is guiding us to do.

Cycles are evident in all our daily life; a year is a cycle just the same as month, a week and a day.  And even down to the hour, it can complete just as soon as it starts.  So, have you ever heard of a cycle for your hair?

Something that goes round and around, never stopping, always moving forward, onto the next.  Only expanding for what it delivers for us, fabulous hair, daily.

At ‘For The Love of Hair’, we love that you book well in advance so as to not miss out. But if you are feeling the pull to shift slightly earlier, for example, then don’t hesitate. You never know what space has opened for you to come in.

Hair grows in cycles, and we can stay in one cycle for a while, as an example - 6 weeks, and then come back to 4 weeks.  Ever thought you’ve had a massive month of work, and your hair has been fertilised and it became hectic, and you don’t know what to do with it because its overgrown? All factors of “I need my hair done, pronto”

Then, on the other hand, it may be slower growing. So, don’t get caught out avoiding the mini trim; style and sense is not based on amount.  Having a mini trim can be refreshing for the hair, and for yourself to have the space to sit and chill. Why not add a treatment for the ultimate scalp massage/nap time.

Do you know your current cycle, check in with your stylist if unsure what it is for you, or book in for an online consultation.
